Tank Parameters
What should my salinity be at?
We recommend that salinity is kept between 1.024-1.026 for optimal conditions for coral
What should my water parameters be at?
We have had the best success keeping our parameters as follows:
- ALK - 8.5
- Nitrate - 10ppm
- Phosphate - .03pp
- Calcium - 420-460
- Magnesium - 1400+
What PAR levels are best?
In our experience, we have found that the sweet spot is anywhere between 140 to 200 par. We have kept just about every type of coral under this intensity and have never had an issue with coral health due to lighting.

What kind of container do you use to ship my coral in?
Depending on the type of coral will depend on our method of coral packing. Most Euphyllia coral will be secured in plastic containers to ensure the coral does not move around during transit. Soft corals may be shipped in 4 to 6 mil bags depending on size.
